Powered by Generosity: A Historic Month in Support of North Hastings Hospital
Because of you, our community continues to show what is possible when we come together.
This Christmas season alone, the North Hastings Fund Development campaign raised an incredible $95,000 toward our $1.25 million goal for a new X-ray machine and other critical hospital equipment. That $95,000 represents our Christmas revenue — and it is only part of the story.
We have raised significantly more overall and are well on our way to fulfilling our $1.25 million goal. The momentum is strong, and it belongs to this community.
Just as importantly, we continue to operate with accountability and efficiency, keeping our cost to raise funds at under five cents on the dollar. That means your donations are going exactly where they should — directly toward essential equipment that supports patient care close to home.
An X-ray machine is not optional equipment. It is one of the most relied-upon diagnostic tools in our hospital, performing over 22,000 X-rays last year alone. Your support helps ensure that our families, friends, and neighbours can access timely, high-quality care right here in North Hastings.
